Spring Thaw in Canada: What it means for your shipment

During the transition of winter to spring, temperatures tend to fluctuate on a daily basis following a pattern of warmer days and colder evenings, which can cause damage to the roadways.

  1. Weather Advisory: PEI – Bridge Traffic Restriction due to high winds – November 10, 2025
  2. Remembrance Day Notice: M-O Terminal Schedule changes:       

    In honour of Remembrance Day, Maritime-Ontario Freightworks terminals in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, and Atlantic Canada will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025.

    Terminals in Ontario, Manitoba, and Quebec will remain open and operating as normal.

    Regular operations will resume at all locations on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025.

    On this day, we pause to remember and honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country and protected the freedoms we enjoy today.
