Service Update: Confederation Bridge Closure due to High Winds – February 28, 2024

Please note that delays may be possible through PEI, due to a wind warning advisory closing the Confederation Bridge in PEI. The bridge is expected to be closed until 10 AM on February 29, 2024. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as they become available.

Service Update: Delays Possible in NB due to Extreme Rainfall and Wind – February 27, 2024

Please note that Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of New Brunswick, effective from Wednesday (February 28) morning until Thursday (February 29) mid-day. The statement warns of significant rainfall and high wind gusts in various parts of the province which could cause delays of up to 24-48 hours. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as they become available.

Service Update: Delays Possible due to Oceanex Closure in St. John’s – February 15, 2024

Please note that due to severe weather conditions and strong winds, the Oceanex terminal at the Port of St. John’s is temporarily closed, with an anticipated reopening of 18:00 on February 15, 2024. We will continue to monitor the service status closely and provide any updates as they become available.

Further delays of 24-48 hours are anticipated as the cities continue to clear the snow and restore safe road conditions. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.

Please note that following the extreme snowfall in Atlantic Canada, all terminals are once again operational, with minor delays anticipated within Sydney, NS while the current backlog is addressed. We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and provide updates as they become available.

The following locations have returned to normal operations, with no anticipated delays:

The following locations have returned to normal operations, with the anticipation of minor delays while the backlog is addressed:
– Moncton, NB
– Halifax, NS

The following locations have resumed operations, with the anticipation of 24-48 hour delays in remote rural areas:
– Charlottetown, PEI

The following locations remain in a state of emergency, with the anticipation 24-48 hour delays while lane access remains restricted:
– Sydney, NS

Service Update: Delays Anticipated in Atlantic Canada Due to Extreme Snowfall – February 5, 2024

Please note that with the extreme snowfall in Atlantic Canada over this past weekend, delays will be expected as the local cities prepare the clean-up process. Terminals throughout Nova Scotia, South Eastern New Brunswick, PEI, and Western and Central Newfoundland have been affected by the extreme snowfall, and are expected to see approximately 48-72 hours of delay in service. We will continue monitoring the situation closely and providing updates as they become available.
