Service Update: Delays expected in NB and NS due to Hurricane Lee – September 15, 2023​

Please note that due to the anticipated tropical storm conditions and coastal flooding over portions of Atlantic Canada this weekend, delays are expected at our terminals in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

As per CN:
Effective from 0700 on Saturday, September 16, 2023, CN Rail will suspend all regular scheduled service in the Moncton and Halifax areas. Service will remain suspended until at least 1400 on Sunday, September 17, 2023. The resumption will depend on the impact and duration of the storm. We will be monitoring the conditions through the weekend and will resume business as soon as safe operating conditions return.

Service Update: BC Forest Fires- August 22, 2023

Please note that as per CN, trains have resumed service in BC. Please note that delays remain possible as trains are moving with caution and reduced speeds in affected areas. We will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Service Update: Delays in BC Due to Forest Fires – August 18, 2023

Please note that delays may be possible due to continued forest fire activity throughout BC.

As per CN:

-Train operations have been suspended west of Ashcroft and Kamloops, BC until further notice.
-All the trains have been cancelled at Vancouver and Kamloops, BC.
-Service will resume gradually as conditions in the area stabilize.

Service Update: Potential NS Delays Update – July 28, 2023

Please note that the required repairs have been completed, and all affected tracks have been reopened. Deliveries within NS should anticipate an additional 24-48 hour delay as track congestion and backlog are cleared. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as they become available.

Please note that delays of 48-72 hours may be possible for deliveries in Nova Scotia, due to torrential downpours that have caused flooding in certain areas. We are working diligently to mitigate delays with an established detour plan, and will continue to monitor the situation closely, and provide updates as they become available.
