Please note that due to adverse weather, Marine Atlantic has issued the following cancellations:

-North Sydney to Port aux Basques Monday, December 11, 2023 at 1145.
-Port aux Basques to North Sydney Monday, December 11, 2023 at 1145.
-North Sydney to Port aux Basques Monday, December 11, 2023 at 2315.
-Port aux Basques to North Sydney Monday, December 11, 2023 at 2330.

Service Update: Delays Possible in MTL Due to Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge Lane Closures – December 7, 2023​

Please note that customers should expect delays as traffic is reduced to one lane in both directions, while repairs continue to be made to the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge. We will continue to monitor the situation, and provide updates as they become available.

Service Update: Delays Possible in MTL Due to Public Sector Strikes – December 7, 2023​

Please note that customers should expect delays from December 8th to December 14th, as teachers and healthcare workers participate in a 7-day strike, which could result in major traffic delays within the downtown area. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.

Service Update: Remembrance Day Closures – November 10, 2023

Please note that on Monday, November 13, terminals in NB, NS, AB, BC, and NL will be closed for the observance of Remembrance Day.

Service Update: Delays possible in BC due to track disruption – November 3, 2023

Please note that clients should anticipate a 24 hour delay on movements to and from lower mainland BC and Ports in Vancouver, as CN is currently experiencing a service disruption on the mainline between Kamloops and Jasper. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.

Service Update: Delays possible in Calgary due to snowstorms​ – October 24, 2023

Please note that delays in and out of Calgary may be possible due to inclement weather. Clients in this area should anticipate a 24-hour delay while we work through the elements.  We will continue to monitor this situation closely and provide updates as they become available.

Service Update: Potential Delays due to CN System Failure – October 3, 2023

Please note that delays may be possible as CN is currently experiencing a networkwide system failure that is impacting inbound/outbound movements of containers through the intermodal terminals. We are awaiting further details as well as an estimated restoration time. We will post further details once available. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience(s) experienced related to these delays.

Service Update: Delays expected in NB and NS due to Hurricane Lee – September 15, 2023​

Please note that due to the anticipated tropical storm conditions and coastal flooding over portions of Atlantic Canada this weekend, delays are expected at our terminals in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

As per CN:
Effective from 0700 on Saturday, September 16, 2023, CN Rail will suspend all regular scheduled service in the Moncton and Halifax areas. Service will remain suspended until at least 1400 on Sunday, September 17, 2023. The resumption will depend on the impact and duration of the storm. We will be monitoring the conditions through the weekend and will resume business as soon as safe operating conditions return.

Service Update: BC Forest Fires- August 22, 2023

Please note that as per CN, trains have resumed service in BC. Please note that delays remain possible as trains are moving with caution and reduced speeds in affected areas. We will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Service Update: Delays in BC Due to Forest Fires – August 18, 2023

Please note that delays may be possible due to continued forest fire activity throughout BC.

As per CN:

-Train operations have been suspended west of Ashcroft and Kamloops, BC until further notice.
-All the trains have been cancelled at Vancouver and Kamloops, BC.
-Service will resume gradually as conditions in the area stabilize.
