Service Update: Additional Delays Possible in Halifax – July 26, 2022

Please note that due to a train derailment in Halifax, NS, there will be an additional 24-48 hour delay.
At this time, no timeline for resolution has been provided. We are currently working on contingencies where possible, to mitigate customer delays.  We will provide updates as more information is available.

Service Update: Halifax Delays Update – July 25, 2022

Please note that on July 21st, CN engineers conducted a flash inspection which resulted in the removal of a track from service in Halifax, NS. This removal has caused delays of 48-72 hours, and while it is expected to take several days to complete the repairs, and there is no formal timeline for resolution, CN has stated that additional crews will be flown in to assist with the required work. We will continue to work with CN and update with any information as it is provided to us.

Service Update: Delays Possible in Halifax – July 22, 2022

Please note that M-O’s Halifax region is currently experiencing rail delays due to an out of service CN track.
The track is currently under repair, and the required repairs could cause delays of up to 24-48 hours.
We hope to see improvements in the near future, and will update once service has been restored.

Service Update: Delays Possible in Calgary – July 15, 2022​

Please note that delays may be possible due to a recent CP derailment, resulting in an outage to both telephone and internet services at M-O’s Calgary terminal. At this time, no timeline for resolution has been provided. We will provide updates as more information is available.

Please note that a Rogers service interruption is severely impacting many regions across Canada. This will likely impact not only updates to customers but service as well.

Service Update: Potential Winter Storm in Southern Manitoba, Southeastern Saskatchewan and Northwest Ontario- April 12, 2022

Please note that Environment Canada has issued a winter storm watch for severe winter weather in southern Manitoba and southeastern Saskatchewan mid-week, calling for heavy snow, strong winds and poor visibility in these regions before tracking into Northwest Ontario.
