OCEANEX DELAY – MAY 31, 2021

Due to a mechanical failure that was identified on the Oceanex Connaigra during its return voyage from St. John’s to Montreal which required immediate repair before sailing to Newfoundland again, there will be a delay. We expect that the Oceanex Connaigra will return to service for the Saturday, June 5th scheduled sailing from Montreal.

PORT OF MONTREAL LABOUR NEGOTATIONS – APRIL 26, 2021

ver the course of the last year, the employer of the longshoremen working at the Port of Montreal, the Maritime Employers Association (MEA), and the union representing those workers, Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) have been attempting to negotiate a new collective agreement, as the previous one expired on December 31, 2018

BC WILDFIRES SERVICE DELAY

The industry continues to experience significant supply chain disruption due to the Wildfires burning in the interior of BC. The following information has been provided as of 12 pm July 6, 2021

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NOVA SCOTIA – MARCH 19, 2021

A significant snowfall warning has been posted for central and eastern Nova Scotia today. They are expecting 15-25cm. Snow, at times heavy, will end this afternoon. The highest accumulations will be over eastern most areas of the province.
