Service Update: Special Weather Statement for Calgary – March 19, 2024​

Please note that delays may be possible throughout Calgary, AB as a result of a significant weather change this week, bringing cooler temperatures and the potential for 15 to 25 cm of snow. This expected front will also bring heavy snow, starting this evening in west-central Alberta and spreading southeast on Wednesday and Thursday. Over the next 48 hours, parts of southern Alberta could see snowfall totals of 15 to 25 cm, with even higher amounts possible over the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Snowfall warnings are likely. We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and provide any service updates as they become available.

Service Update: Terminal Closure in NL Due to Severe Weather – March 8, 2024​

Please note that due to severe weather conditions, our NL terminal will be closed today and is scheduled to reopen on Monday, March 11. With this closure, we anticipate service delays of 48-72 hours, but we will continue to monitor the situation and provide any updates as they become available.

Please note that unsafe road conditions caused by heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures may result in delays of 24-48 hours throughout both SK and MB. We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.

Service Update: Atlantic Canada Updates – March 7, 2024

Please be advised of anticipated severe weather in Atlantic Canada, lasting from today until Saturday morning. This forecast includes significant snowfall and freezing rain, which may result in service disruptions, especially impacting our terminals in NL, NS, PEI, and NB. We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates tailored to each location as information becomes available.

Service Update: Confederation Bridge Closure due to High Winds – February 28, 2024

Please note that delays may be possible through PEI, due to a wind warning advisory closing the Confederation Bridge in PEI. The bridge is expected to be closed until 10 AM on February 29, 2024. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as they become available.

Service Update: Delays Possible in NB due to Extreme Rainfall and Wind – February 27, 2024

Please note that Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of New Brunswick, effective from Wednesday (February 28) morning until Thursday (February 29) mid-day. The statement warns of significant rainfall and high wind gusts in various parts of the province which could cause delays of up to 24-48 hours. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as they become available.

Service Update: Delays Possible due to Oceanex Closure in St. John’s – February 15, 2024

Please note that due to severe weather conditions and strong winds, the Oceanex terminal at the Port of St. John’s is temporarily closed, with an anticipated reopening of 18:00 on February 15, 2024.
